The design of the graphics card seems a lot better than the ZOTAC RTX 3000-series graphics cards. The GPU shares a curvy look with RGB lighting at the top and the backplate; has a thick heat sink for cooling. This is one of the only graphics cards we have seen that come with as curvy looks as this. Moreover, the GPU is also available in a white color theme, which is excellent for white-themed rigs.

There is a total of 10496 CUDA cores on the graphics card in combination with 328 Texture Mapping Units and 112 Render Output Units. As for the Tensor and RT cores, you get 328 Tensor cores and 82 RT cores with the RTX 3090. All these components run at a boost clock rate of 1860 MHz, which is a 10% improvement from the reference clock rates. The memory of the graphics card is among the best, providing a large buffer size of 24 GB with an overall memory bandwidth of 936 GB/s. 

The gaming performance of the graphics card is fantastic for 4K Ultra gaming at native resolution. Most games won’t require DLSS for 60 FPS, although some games with Ray Tracing will definitely require you to turn on DLSS if you want to enjoy high frame rates. Overall, GIGABYTE AORUS RTX 3090 XTREME is a nice alternative to RTX 4000-series graphics cards if you get it at a low price point.
